NOTICE OF PROPOSED ORDINANCE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Governing Body of the Village of Cloudcroft, New Mexico will consider for adoption at its regular meeting on the 14th day of December, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. at the Village Offices on Burro Street, Cloudcroft, New Mexico, an ordinance, the title and general subject matter of which is as follows:
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3-8-6 OF THE CLOUDCROFT CODE OF ORDINANCES PROVIDING LAND USE CONTROLS RELATING TO THE REGULATION OF THE LOCATION OF A CANNABIS FACILIITY TO A SCHOOL OR DAYCARE CENTER, PROPER ZONING, SIGNAGE, ARCHITECTURAL CONTROL, HOURS OF OPERATION AND PROVIDING FOR VARIANCES WHEN APPROPRIATE UNDER THE CIRCUMSTANCES.
The subject matter of the Ordinance provides for amendment to the Cloudcroft Code cannabis land use control as to distance from a school, day care centers or other cannabis facility, signage, hours of operation and provides for a variance procedure in the implementation of such land use control.
A copy of the proposed Ordinance may be obtained from the Village Clerk at the Village Offices during normal business hours upon payment of a reasonable reproduction fee.
