Minutes of the WORK SESSION of the Governing Body for the Village of Cloudcroft, held on Friday, October 27, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. in the council chambers, 201 Burro Ave, Cloudcroft, NM.
Mayor William Denney called the work session to order at 1:03 p.m., with the following Governing Body members present: Mayor Pro-Tem James Maynard, Trustee Gail McCoy, Trustee Grover Sterling, and Trustee George Mitchell, providing a quorum.

The Pledge of Allegiance to the United States and New Mexico Flags was led by Mayor Denney.
TOPIC OF WORK SESSION
Cell Tower Site Lease and Ordinance Review Regarding Street Vendors/Food Trucks
Cell Tower Site Lease
Trustees’ ideas for lease renewal included raising tower rent to one thousand dollars a month with an increase based on CPI or two percent, whichever is greater, a thirty-year term, two tower spots available to the Village of Cloudcroft, and that the tenet maintains liability insurance.
Street Vendor/Food Truck Ordinance
Trustees’ ideas for Street Vendor/Food Truck Ordinance included no at large vendors, accepting GRTs in lieu of permit fees, having vendors fill out a form provided sixty days prior to special events, special events needing to be sponsored by an organization, and maintaining a clear area twice the size of unit on private property with at least five feet away from another vendor.
No action was taken at the meeting.
